2014 Festival Free Concerts

Daytime concerts are FREE, general admission events and do not require tickets.  Just come and choose your seat that day!

TUESDAY, JUNE 10, 2014 ~ noon First United Methodist Church, 407 N. Bridge St. Virtuosic pianist Melissa Marse performs a program of preludes with characteristic passion and poise.
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 11, 2014 ~ noon First United Methodist Church, 407 N. Bridge St. Good things come in threes! VBF period instrumentalists perform Baroque works that play off the number three, including Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 3 in G major.
THURSDAY, JUNE 12, 2014 ~ noon The Golden Gecko, 202 E. Forrest St. As a founding member of So Percussion and co-founder the Meehan/Perkins Duo, Todd Meehan is committed to creating and performing new works for percussion.
FRIDAY, JUNE 13, 2014 ~ noon First United Methodist Church, 407 N. Bridge St. Who was the world’s greatest classical music prodigy? VBF Chamber Music Artists perform music by Mozart, Mendelssohn, and Barber, all prolific teenage musician-composers.
SATURDAY, JUNE 14, 2014 ~ 1:00 pm Victoria Public Library, 302 N. Main Join us for a rhythm party with percussionists from the Victoria Bach Festival! Instruments provided, or bring your own drum.
