As the final notes of Spellbound filled the Victoria Fine Arts Center on Saturday evening, the curtain closed on another extraordinary Victoria Bach Festival.
For eight days, audiences were transported through a world of imagination, storytelling, triumph, mystery, and fantasy as part of our 51st season theme, Fantastical Music. From the vibrant artistry of Duo AYA in Goliad and Rockport to the dramatic beauty of La Notte and Beyond, the virtuosic performance of internationally acclaimed pianist Anton Nel, the powerful choral and orchestral presentation of Angels & Dragons, the genre-crossing talents of VAMP Vocals, and the breathtaking Festival Finale, Spellbound, this year’s Festival celebrated music’s remarkable ability to transport, transform, and inspire. Free morning concerts, pay-what-you-can noon performances, and educational opportunities throughout the week ensured that audiences of all ages could experience the magic of live music.
