From the playful mischief of Paul Dukas’s The Sorcerer’s Apprentice to the luminous lyricism of Ludwig van Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 4, featuring Anton Nel, the evening culminates in the vivid, fantastical storytelling of Hector Berlioz’s Symphonie Fantastique, performed by the Festival Orchestra under the direction of Artistic Director Alejandro Hernandez-Valdez.
